The Restaurant

Parwa Restaurant is a community restaurant, owned by the rural community of Huchuy Qosqo, in the Lamay District, in the province of Calca, in the Cusco region, Peru. The business initiative was launched in 2013 by the International Foundation Planeterra, with the active participation of all local families belonging to the community of Huchuy Qosqo. All profits generated by the business are invested in social projects for the community, in order to promote their development and sustainable economic growth.

With over two years of experience, the restaurant offers an excellent mixture of regional and traditional cuisine from Peru and fusion cuisine. Thanks to this mixture and the use of products and ingredients of the area (quinoa, corn, potatoes, etc.), we have created a new product. Guests will enjoy an unforgettable journey through Peruvian cuisine, surrounded by fields and mountains, such as the Condor Tiana and Pitusiray.

The team that manages the restaurant is composed of members of the Community of Huchuy Qosqo, who have been trained by experts in the hospitality and cuisine sectors, as well as in business administration.

Among the proposals of the restaurant, you will find the buffet service at the table, composed of some of the most typical dishes of Peruvian cuisine but with the contribution of the fusion food: a culinary experiment that all guests enjoy. Other menus are also available, as well as cooking classes for tourists  and the holding of events like weddings and parties of all kinds.
